Earth Expressions Landscape and Maintenance is the sister company to the local garden center Phelan Gardens. We pride ourselves on our landscaping process; from design to construction, we are passionate and professional throughout. Our clients’ needs come first as we customize their outdoor living spaces, and strive to build an experience that reflects the clients’ desires while maintaining a sustainable landscape within the semi-arid downslope of Pikes Peak.
Our designs prioritize resilience and functionality, and largely include xeric, native, drought tolerant, edible, and/or pollinator-friendly plant varieties. In contrast, sod, large water features and expanses of rock mulch do not align with our values.

Position Summary:
The landscape technician is responsible for working well with a small team to complete landscape projects beautifully and efficiently with respect for customers, co-workers, tools, and places. Pay based on experience/ability.
Responsibilities Summary:
- Grading
- Trenching
- Wall building
- Planting
- Drip irrigation basics
- Demolition
- Fabric/edging
- Takes direction well from crew foreman
- Manage time effectively
- Be cost aware
- Maintain positive environment with a good attitude and communication skills
Qualifications:
- Goal/quality oriented
- Must interact well with customers and co-workers
- Strong communication and listening skills
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy (50+ lbs.) items repeatedly
- Able to use tools properly and effectively
- Attention to detail and cost
- Positive attitude
- Reliable transportation to and from jobsite/shop
- Ability to work through the elements/inclement weather
